It is our mission to constantly grow, change, and elevate our salon environment and experience, so we value the input and feedback of clients and stylists alike to continue our growth. We hope that in turn this helps grow and improve the greater Columbia community.

Our Craft

As a salon we are dedicated to constantly growing, learning, and elevating our craft. Our team enjoys monthly in house education, education from our amazing brand partners, as well as intensive education retreats where we travel as a group to learn together and share in our experiences. We strive to be the go to salon for exceptional hair color, flawless extensions, and the ability to serve all clients a luxury experience regardless of their hair type or texture.

Our Salon

Metropolis has grown to be more than just a hair salon. We have created a clean, modern, & elevated work space to provide a comfortable, yet luxurious beauty experience for anyone to enjoy.

We were proud to be one of the first pioneers of the Main Street revitalization from 2014-2022, and are now honored to call the Vista District of Columbia, SC our home.

Inspired by his travels to NYC, owner Gregory Garrett wanted to create a studio that was welcoming, yet still very luxurious, where every client is treated to the best experience regardless of their status or income.

All people are welcome in our space, and we constantly strive to grow, learn, and educate ourselves on what we can do in our studio and industry to make salons a safe space for all people no matter how you identify or live your life.
