Holly Baker

Hey ya’ll, My name is Holly and I was born and raised in the small town of Denver, North Carolina.  I was raised along-side my sister, Cassey, who remains my best friend to this day!  

I have always been drawn to professions in the service industry and it was when I was 16 years old that I discovered my love for hair.  As a teenager, I was the go-to girl for date night, school dances, and nights out for all of my friends.  I developed my passion for hair, while hanging out with my closest friends. 

Now, having discovered my love for hair at a young age, I was fortunate enough that my high school offered a career skills program that afforded me the opportunity to begin my cosmetology education as part of my eleventh grade curriculum. Honestly, I never looked back.  I worked and worked, eventually putting myself through cosmetology school and have now been a part of the hair industry for over 15 years. 

My passion is dimensional color and our modern color experience.  I know people today have a lot on their plate.  I love being able to create a beautiful color that is low maintenance for the client; a lived in look that is both trendy and versatile.  However, if your seeking that traditional yet modern highlight,  I never shy away from an opportunity to create a bold contrasting look. 

I have been licensed in 5 states (NE, NC, MI, TX, SC); having been married to my military spouse for more than 9 years.  She and I have 2 cats, love to travel, and aspire to be great vegetable gardeners some day! In my free time I enjoy meditation, watching Lions football, and learning all about astrology.

The most important part of my job is making sure you, the client, has an all-around wonderful experience while you’re in my chair.  I pride myself in creating a warm and open environment; a place where we work together to formulate a plan that is just right for you.  If you would like to start your hair journey with me, be sure to ask for Holly B!
